I had Hull Ripper on my old pirate that was taken. It was really good. And you said yourself abyss is really only good for pvp and bosses - i hate pvp and barely do bosses. That's why i pick Hull Ripper

I said Abyss is bad for pvp and bosses....
Its only good at Tormenta and Mines, which you loot at alot.

I have Hull Ripper, and I never used Abyss but... it's legendary, so i'm going with Abyss!!

My deep down analysis:
Resale: Blade of the Abyss (I still wouldn't sell it)
Attack: Tie (Both equal attacks)
Type of Sword: Hull Ripper (Broadsword can get more enemies)
Main Skill: Blade of the Abyss (Both rank 3, but a whole sweep could get more enemies)
Second Skill: Hull Ripper (That would bring me up to Rank 7)
Third Skill: Blade of the Abyss (Both rank 3, but I don't use brawl much)
Level Requirement: Tie (Both same requirement to use)
Trail: Blade of the Abyss (Red is WAY cooler than black)
Totals:
Blade of the Abyss: 4
Hull Ripper: 2
And by the way I do have a life...
