Tip Skill Leveling

You can easily level up any skill by defeating low level monsters & there is a lvl 5 sword that can heal you while you wait for your potion flask to finish. Hope this helps.
 
Is there a guide on how to allocate points on skills somewhere? I have a good idea but I'd like to see some expert opinions.
 
Probably not but what I contribute my points on is pure damage output. It all depends if you like guns, voodoo doll, swords. knife, or bombs and even staff

If you want to go for pure damage, I wouldn't recommend doing so until you have mastered that art of combat. (I would also avoid points in Blade Instinct(dagger skill, affects sword as well), Spirit Mastery(staff skill, also affects doll), and Barrage (cannons skill, also affects grenades) until the weapon types they boost damage for are also mastered.
