Who is Shepard Fairey?
Shepard Fairey is known by some as a street artist, aged 45. He is well known for his first work "Andre the giant has a posse" and then even more for his iconic pop art "Hope" work which features the 44th President of the United States in patriotic colours. He currently runs Obey Giant which is a brand that stemmed from his first work. A common pop culture "swagtastic" hat features Obey Giant's logo "OBEY"
Many of his works I found are in some way political but not in the sense of Democrat vs Republican rather than social/government issues.
