We have a double loot event going on right now. If you're out sailing, take advantage of it!
Far better to spend 15 minutes with a big crew stocking up on chests, pouches, and the occasional skull chest and then porting than to spend an hour getting 30/30 materials.
It also helps prevent the risk of crashing after being out on the water for too long and the captain porting before you can get back on, essentially causing you to have wasted so much time and get absolutely nothing in return.
Maximise those profits!
