weapon of choice when looting

Does what weapon I use raise the chance of getting something good? When looting alone what weapon do you use and what weapon have you used most when you got your brights famed or legendary?

The weapon you use has no percent of increase on getting anything good. That said, some weapons can be more practical for looting, meaning you can kill more enemies per minute, thus increasing the amount of loot you get.

For example, if y0u are at the mines, use siege or blunderbuss, not a cutlass or a repeater. That way, with one shot 4 enemies are killed, not one.
