As the title asks, what is your favorite IRC client? I know many of us use the web based one out of simplicity.
Personally I use HexChat. I enjoy the simplicity, yet extensibility. Writing plugins/scripts is easy to pick up and learn. Customizing themes is easy. It is open source and fairly compact as well.
So tell me, what is your favorite IRC client and why.
